Hi, I'm Tom!
And I'm here to help busy, worn-out, and overwhelmed private practice owners get back on top of their marketing goals, accelerate their business growth, and fall back in love with doing what they do best!
It's nice to meet you...
Who Am I?
I'm someone who understands. I know your to-do list is never done. And I also know there are things on there that you'll simply never get around to. They'll eventually just get crossed off your to-do list and forgotten about, whilst all the other therapists continue to out-perform you with their unending stream of clients....
And who can blame you? Working in your business as well as on your business is truly an insurmountable task. Throw in the mix having a social life, romantic partner, kids and a house to clean and honestly - it's making me stressed just thinking about it.
My Mission
And that's where I come in. Why? Because I've been there. Working late, never finishing on time, juggling working in your business and working on it. And when you finally do get round to posting on Insta, or writing that blog - no one even reads it anyway.
Well the good news in that you're not on your own. The bad news is that that won't get you out of this jam.
Before you know it you are still completely wedded to the referral agencies you swore you wouldn't need after the first 6 months and you have just as much control over your working hours as you did when you were employed.
Wasn't Starting Your Own Business Suppossed to be Liberating?
I know every therapist starts off with the best intentions. But the truth is that you are never properly prepared or equipped to deal with many of the challenges that running your own practice presents.
You now have to know how to market, invoice, book-keep, sort wifi issues, and still have enough time to see your clients. Suddenly running your own practice becomes even more trapping than work had ever felt.
So, how can I help you?
Well, let's just say that most therapist website/ blogs or social media accounts I see are... a little bland.
Many therapist websites are more akin to a C.V. than anything else. They fail to showcase their personality, charm and human side. I’ve actually see people write blogs on the intricacies of EMDR before.
Don’t get me wrong, if it was an academic essay - they’d deserve a first (I believe it even had referencing) - but to your clients, this is absolute gobbledygook and not only useless, I’d actually argue damaging to your brand.
What's our goal?
The goal, is to help you to help yourself. And by that I mean to help you get back on track with being the therapist you know you can be, to the niche you excel in. And from that gain the satisfaction and impact you always dreamed you would make.
Without burning out.
And that’s where I come in.
This is not a quick fix
And that's because there is no such thing. Otherwise we’d all be doing it.
No - this is a grass-roots development of know, like and trust factors; consistent and intelligent marketing strategies; and the secret ingredient of time.
Good copywriting can take months before it starts to gain traction, best rest-assured: gain traction it will. So long as we are considerate, consistent, and useful to your clients - the algorithm will start to pay us attention. And it’s all downhill from there!
"Tom has been great in helping me design and clarify my brand voice to suit my target audience. Now when I reach out, I feel confident my tone, wording and strategy is geared up for success."
- Ms. Joy Alarcon

“Show, don't tell."
The golden rule for any writing is always this. It means the language we use must be so evocative that the reader is absorbed into our world. They feel heard, understood and at one with what we are saying. They trust us to take care of their problems for them.
And I provide a FREE 15 minute consulation?!
Don't say I don't spoil you...
